Artweek 2027

After careful consideration, and due to a combination of personal circumstances affecting members of the organising team, the Holmfirth Artweek Committee has made the important decision not to hold the main exhibition at the Civic Hall in 2027.

The Fringe will go ahead. We’ll be putting our energy into growing it, creating opportunities for artists, venues and visitors across the wider community.

While 2027 will be a year of transition, our ambition is to return in 2028 with a stronger, more sustainable, and future-focused Holmfirth Artweek. Over the coming months, we will be working behind the scenes to review, develop and strengthen the event for the years ahead

PAST EVENTS

ARTWEEK AT THE CIVIC

Holmfirth Artweek has been part of the town’s calendar since 1966. For decades, artists, makers and visitors have come together at the Civic Hall, with only a pause during Covid, to celebrate creativity in Holmfirth and the surrounding area.

The main exhibition has filled three floors of the Civic Hall, with work on show and for sale, demonstrations from artists on the first floor stage, and a market of cards, prints and small works on the second floor.
